Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for M402 contract procurement matters
• Lead the development and management of procurement contract management plans and strategies
• Produce procurement documentation including requirements, specifications, and draft contracts
• Support the tender process by reviewing contracts and attending review meetings
• Coordinate with stakeholders in Design, Engineering, Project Controls, and Safety to draft technical specifications
• Manage tenderer clarifications and coordinate responses with legal advisors
• Maintain procurement documents in accordance with client procedures
• Assist in providing progress reports and managing team resourcing

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience managing complex procurement processes in major capital programmes
• 5+ years of experience on metro rail projects or similar scale projects
• Experience with public sector e-procurement and EU Procurement Directives
• Knowledge of Irish National Regulations and laws
• Degree (Level 8) in engineering, supply chain, procurement, or related field
• Professional qualification such as CIPS, RICS, ICE, or IE

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 9 Masters in a relevant field
• Advanced Diploma in Public Procurement Law (King’s Inns)
• Membership in the Institute of Management Consulting or Association of Project Management
