Procurement Manager Trading & Subcontracting

Responsibilities

• Supervise and secure the supply of finished products (trading and subcontracted) and raw materials for production.
• Manage and organize the procurement department, including staff management, training, and workload planning.
• Define and structure work methods and lead continuous improvement projects to optimize stock management and cost control.
• Manage supplier relations, including sourcing new partners, evaluating performance, and handling disputes.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Warehousing) to meet group objectives regarding service rates and stock depreciation.
• Optimize stock levels and define procurement strategies considering MOQ, profitability, and logistics constraints.
• Develop production plans for peak seasons and manage subcontractor capacities to ensure product availability.
• Oversee large import logistics, including sourcing freight forwarders and ensuring smooth container transfers.

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production management, logistics, or procurement management.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of logistics flows and the entire purchasing function.
• Ability to manage supplier relations and evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and stress management skills in a seasonal business environment.
