Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key component suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Establish regular communication cadences including supplier scorecard reviews and business reviews
• Onboard new vendors and coordinate with Finance and Compliance on approval workflows
• Resolve supplier issues regarding pricing, quantity, delivery schedules, and quality holds
• Maintain accurate pricing and lead time intelligence for all critical components
• Identify alternate sources and qualify backup suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience
• Track open purchase orders and manage shipment visibility to protect manufacturing schedules
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to expedite shipments
• Own the day-to-day purchase order lifecycle within enterprise systems
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Compliance, and Finance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
• 5-10 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing the full purchase order lifecycle and vendor relationships
• Proficiency with materials planning frameworks like JIT or MRP
• Direct experience with Epicor ERP systems
• Experience with international sourcing, including Europe and Asia, and familiarity with Incoterms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
• Experience with PLM systems such as Arena PLM
• Ability to travel up to 20% for vendor management and site visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM
• Experience supporting a company through an ERP implementation or migration
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior procurement staff
• Familiarity with HVAC, data center cooling, or industrial equipment sectors
• Working knowledge of one or more European languages
