Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team to ensure efficient execution across business functions.
• Drive the transformation of the procurement function by implementing best-in-class processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) while balancing quality, service, and risk.
• Act as a strategic business partner to Operations, Finance, and Project Teams to align procurement with commercial objectives.
• Lead complex sourcing activities, including RFx development, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Manage key supplier relationships and establish performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement proactive supply risk management strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Identify and deliver measurable cost savings through demand management and supplier rationalization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience.
• Proven track record of leading procurement transformations or significantly improving procurement functions.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a deep understanding of TCO and cost drivers.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Ability to work effectively in lean or resource-constrained environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Energy, or Oil & Gas.
• Experience in sourcing, contracting, and post-award contract execution.
