Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Deliver specified procurement packages, including both key and routine packages, for the HARP project.
• Manage and control the procurement of specific infrastructure packages and project sectors.
• Review Main Contract conditions and develop subcontract agreements in coordination with the commercial lead.
• Lead and attend procurement meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and professional teams.
• Manage nominated suppliers and relationships, including monitoring trade agreements and payment terms.
• Support the Senior Procurement Manager in implementing purchasing policies, strategies, and planning.
• Supervise and develop direct reports, including training, upskilling, and performance monitoring.
• Work closely with the supply chain management team to monitor performance, workload, and financial status.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a procurement role, ideally within a construction or engineering background.
• Proven experience running procurement packages on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC subcontract forms and the ability to develop robust subcontract agreements.
• Experience in supply chain management and supplier relationship management.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and integrated IT systems.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
