Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of the procurement department and exert diligent financial process control
- Work proactively with stakeholders to source quality products and maximize guest satisfaction
- Develop and implement business strategies with measurable performance reporting
- Manage the team life cycle, fostering growth, development, and performance
- Oversee the purchasing budget and ensure all functions are controlled and audited
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Review purchasing performance and provide recommendations to drive financial performance
- Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation and due diligence requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel purchasing
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Strong managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for hospitality
- Ability to find creative solutions and offer strategic recommendations
