Responsibilities

• Act as the first in-house buyer supporting purchasing across software, IT, marketing, travel, and professional services
• Manage vendor relationships and own end-to-end negotiations
• Track contract renewals and guide stakeholders through purchasing decisions
• Drive savings by consolidating redundant tools and reclaiming unused licenses
• Coordinate vendor security, data privacy (DPA), and liability reviews with Security and Legal teams
• Build procurement processes from the ground up, including intake/PO workflows and spend visibility

Requirements

• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
• Experience in a high-growth technology or software company
• Proven track record of independently owning vendor negotiations and contract management
• Experience building procurement processes and selecting spend-management or CLM tooling
• Ability to coordinate vendor security and data privacy reviews (SOC 2, DPAs)
• Excellent executive-level communication and relationship management skills
• Located in San Francisco and willing to work in-office
