Procurement Manager - Operational Goods & Services (Indirects)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver value, cost savings, and operational efficiencies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage key supplier relationships and lead contract negotiations to secure optimal terms and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including competitive bidding, RFP/RFI processes, and supplier selection.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect against supply chain disruptions.
• Establish and monitor supplier KPIs and SLAs to ensure accountability and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT to align procurement with wider business needs.
• Drive ESG and sustainability initiatives by identifying ethical sourcing opportunities.
• Analyze spend data and market trends to inform decision-making and report on cost savings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement with a proven track record of managing end-to-end processes.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and commercial acumen.
• Expertise in risk management and conducting third-party risk assessments.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with procurement software and digital tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP).
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Knowledge of ESG and sustainability practices within procurement.

Preferred Qualifications

• MCIPS qualification or currently working towards it.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth tech or startup environment.
• Experience managing multiple spend categories, specifically indirect procurement.
• Degree qualification.
