Procurement Manager – MWBE Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage MWBE programs to increase participation in contracting opportunities
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to MWBE goals
• Build and maintain relationships with MWBE vendors, contractors, and community organizations
• Prepare and present regular reports on M/WBE participation metrics and program performance
• Provide education and training to CFB staff, vendors, and external stakeholders on MWBE requirements
• Lead discussions and execute Request for Proposals and other procurements
• Review contract performance and lead vendor performance evaluations
• Supervise staff on related projects

Requirements

• Minimum of two to three years of experience building or administering MWBE programs
• Knowledge of NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules and Comptroller Directives
• Proficiency with NYC procurement systems including FMS and PASSPort
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tracking and reporting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, public administration, or a related field, plus one year of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with NYC Local Law 1 (2013) and the citywide M/WBE program framework
• Experience using NYS Office of General Services (OGS) or GSA platforms for vendor research
