About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the procurement team and supervise daily departmental activities to ensure objectives are met
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify, select, and develop local and international supplier bases
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms to protect long-term company interests
- Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and delivery
- Proactively manage supply chain risks to prevent production disruptions
- Ensure permanent availability of materials required for production
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Finance departments
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and continuous process improvements
- Monitor relevant KPIs and report results to management
Requirements
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent negotiation and analytical thinking skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Higher education in technical or economic fields
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing company
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a team coordination role
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Advanced English language proficiency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP knowledge (SAP is an advantage)
