Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging, and services necessary for organizational operations.
• Compile and analyze statistical data to determine purchasing feasibility and establish price objectives.
• Monitor price trends and manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or reliability.
• Negotiate prices, select suppliers, review proposals, and manage the execution of material and service contracts.
• Provide direction and supervision to subordinates, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and following established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Division GSM and Category Management teams.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree from a reputed university.
• 10-15 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Proven experience in global sourcing and managing international suppliers.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement analytics tools.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with spend analysis platforms and compliance/ethical sourcing standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plastic molding tools and processes.
• Experience working within a large, matrixed global organization.
• Strong background in sustainability and responsible sourcing.
