Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Design 9fin's procurement policy, intake process, and approval workflow
• Stand up a single front door for procurement requests
• Define and document the RFP process, including sourcing and evaluation
• Evaluate and recommend procurement tooling to automate renewals and intake
• Own the full vendor lifecycle: sourcing, evaluation, contracting, onboarding, renewals, and offboarding
• Manage the central vendor register and spend dashboard
• Lead commercial negotiations across vendor categories, including SaaS and specialist services
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and IT/InfoSec to sequence approvals and manage risk
• Integrate procurement into Finance's budgeting and planning cycles

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of procurement experience at a technology or fintech business
• Proven experience designing or materially expanding a procurement function
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with experience leading material spend negotiations
• Ability to build scalable processes and documentation from first principles
• High level of financial literacy and comfort working within budgeting cycles
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Finance, Legal, and IT
