About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the procurement process for construction projects and ongoing operations
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and gather pricing and quality information
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors
  • Generate and manage purchase orders in compliance with company procedures
  • Monitor purchase order status and track deliveries
  • Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Maintain an inventory system to track stock levels of construction materials and equipment
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and vendor performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the construction field preferred
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
