About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end sourcing activities including bidder identification, bid administration, and proposal evaluation
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms and establish Framework/Partnership/Blanket Agreements
  • Conduct supplier prequalification and manage logistics to meet delivery timelines
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and support automation of procurement processes
  • Perform benchmarking studies and track procurement KPIs and SLAs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross regional teams to advance project deliverables

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Utilities or Construction industry
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Technical degree with certification in procurement preferred
  • Strong knowledge of North American Markets, Manufacturers, Distributors, and Suppliers
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards or Oracle preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License with ability to travel to site as required
