About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end to end sourcing activities including bidder identification, bid administration, and proposal evaluation
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms and establish Framework/Partnership/Blanket Agreements
- Conduct supplier prequalification and manage logistics to meet delivery timelines
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and support automation of procurement processes
- Perform benchmarking studies and track procurement KPIs and SLAs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross regional teams to advance project deliverables
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Utilities or Construction industry
- Experience in Project Management
- Technical degree with certification in procurement preferred
- Strong knowledge of North American Markets, Manufacturers, Distributors, and Suppliers
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards or Oracle preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License with ability to travel to site as required
