Procurement Contracts Agent Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Procurement Agent employees performing activities related to purchasing goods and services, supplier strategies, and contract development
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies, and set operational goals
• Acquire resources for projects and provide technical management of suppliers to lead process improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, processes, and negotiation tools
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees to ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices
• 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• 3+ years of experience managing suppliers or vendors to deliver products and services
• Experience utilizing strategic decision-making and supply chain metrics to drive business results
