Procurement Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage complete end-to-end fixed-price consulting tenders with recognized firms (Big 4)
• Qualify business needs and oversee the contracting process
• Monitor economic and contractual performance
• Act as a subject matter expert to support and upskill procurement team members
• Provide guidance on requirement scoping, negotiations, and contractual security

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in purchasing fixed-price consulting services (excluding IT/licenses)
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end consulting tenders
• Experience negotiating with major consulting firms (e.g., Big 4, strategy firms)
• Strong understanding of contractual clauses including deliverables, milestones, penalties, and intellectual property
• Business partner mindset with the ability to challenge stakeholders
• High level of autonomy, rigor, and priority management
• Excellent communication and pedagogical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Sector experience in banking, insurance, actuaries, or finance
• Professional fluency in English
• Familiarity with industry standards such as compliance, GDPR, risk, and outsourcing
