Procurement Buyer II

Responsibilities

• Execute timely and accurate purchase order placement aligned to production schedules and MRP signals.
• Drive supplier order acknowledgement and secure commitments to need dates for critical materials.
• Monitor open orders daily and take corrective actions on past-due or at-risk purchase orders.
• Manage supplier performance regarding on-time delivery, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Identify material risks related to capacity, lead time, and single-source dependencies.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Quality, and Engineering to align procurement with business needs.
• Maintain accurate updates in ERP systems to ensure data integrity for order status and delivery dates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or Operations.
• 2 to 5 years of professional procurement experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Material Planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPIM and/or CPM certification.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with E-source.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
