Procurement Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors to secure favorable conditions for goods and services.
• Conduct cost analysis to optimize spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to ensure service levels meet company expectations.
• Partner with finance, underwriting, and claims teams to align procurement activities with budgetary constraints and operational needs.
• Identify and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with insurance industry standards.
• Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform strategic procurement decisions.
• Implement process enhancements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Procurement or Vendor Management preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting cost and performance evaluations.
• Ability to maintain positive vendor relationships and negotiate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification.
