Procurement and Contracts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project procurement plans with assistance from the Procurement Manager
• Review and assist with Single Source Justifications and Scope of Work documents
• Manage OFCI buyer and expediting duties through team coordination
• Establish negotiation plans and participate in vendor negotiations
• Manage the RFx process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings
• Process change orders, RFIs, and submittals
• Implement new contract process controls and communicate with the home office
• Produce accurate reports for project teams, stakeholders, and clients
• Conduct price analysis, modeling, and purchase-price cost analysis

Requirements

• Mandatory experience with equipment buying and expediting
• 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement and contract administration
• Experience in the construction industry is desired
• Strong understanding of contract requirements and RFxs/RFIs preparation
• Proficiency in both Portuguese and English
• Ability to build strong cross-functional and supplier relationships
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Experience working with technology-based clients
