About the role
Responsibilities
- Draft solicitation specifications in a clear and concise manner
- Process purchase orders using various City systems
- Consult with various DYCD units to ensure the correct goods and or services are being procured
- Follow appropriate procurement methods and rules for the procurement
- Maintain and update procurement status reports and databases
- Process contracts to registration in a timely manner, including responsibility determination
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and six months of professional experience in procurement or contract management; OR
- Associate degree and 18 months of professional experience; OR
- High school diploma and two and one-half years of professional experience
- Experience in procurement of goods, services, or construction
