Procurement Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of supplier purchase orders and contracts effectively
• Oversee source selection processes for various parts and services
• Prepare, negotiate, and execute Request for Proposals (RFP), supplier contracts, and purchase orders
• Support Proposal Board activities by gathering supplier cost and lead time data
• Evaluate supplier performance regarding delivery, quality, and financial stability
• Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions to manage supplier performance
• Communicate across functions and with external suppliers to manage risks and opportunities
• Coach and mentor junior team members within the supply chain organization

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a Supply Chain environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• Experience in proposing, negotiating, and executing contracts or subcontracts
• Background in strategic sourcing and managing supplier performance
• Experience with Project Management methodologies
