Procurement Agent

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities for the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
• Research, source, evaluate, and process orders for supplies and equipment based on price, quality, and warranty
• Perform continuous analysis of demand and supply to optimize supply chain execution and inventory balance
• Lead negotiations of pricing and contract terms and conditions to create binding agreements
• Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions
• Consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues and lead strategic supplier solutions

Requirements

• 1+ years of Supply Chain related work experience
• 1+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement practices
• 3+ years of experience managing supplier relationships and strategic partnerships
• Strong business acumen and understanding of procurement processes
