Procurement Agent

Responsibilities

• Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to coordinate the global supply chain
• Manage a globally dispersed supply base and place purchase orders in SAP/ERP
• Expedite part fulfillment to meet key airplane delivery milestones
• Analyze data to recommend mitigation strategies for potential part shortages
• Coordinate with on-site supplier support teams regarding seat rework
• Report status updates to Seats and Airplane Program leadership
• Track and anticipate production milestones to mitigate risks related to installation and certification
• Proactively problem-solve and implement process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or general Business Operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work 2nd shift (typically 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
• Experience with project or program management
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment involving urgent emerging issues
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 10%)
