Process/Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, technical drawings, and regulatory standards
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, inspection plans, and control standards
• Lead DFM reviews between Engineering and Contract Manufacturers
• Provide hands-on support for manufacturing floor troubleshooting and process optimization
• Lead yield improvement initiatives using data analysis and root cause methodologies
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive quality improvements
• Support new product launches and define inspection/validation criteria
• Investigate field and customer-reported issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• 5–7+ years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments
• Strong hands-on experience in process troubleshooting and quality engineering
• Experience with statistical analysis, yield improvement, and root cause methodologies
• Familiarity with quality systems, inspection standards, and documentation practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen methodologies
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and global suppliers
• Knowledge of NPI processes and scaling manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, CAPA, 8D
• Experience building or managing data systems for manufacturing analytics
