Responsibilities

• Operate mixing equipment, pumps, mills, and valves to maintain production schedules
• Combine liquid and granular ingredients according to specific recipes
• Load fillers with appropriate product lids, cups, and box labels
• Perform arithmetic calculations and read scales accurately
• Provide product samples to the lab and monitor time and temperature requirements
• Ensure proper weights and metal detector checks are completed
• Clean and rinse equipment according to specified procedures
• Complete daily documentation and reporting for equipment, supplies, and products
• Maintain company standards for cleanliness, food safety, and productivity

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs in a repetitive manner
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to follow detailed directions regarding time, temperature, and weight
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working area
