Responsibilities

• Reviewing applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Proactively communicating with homeowners, teammates, and third-party vendors
• Ordering and reviewing information from third-party vendors including title reports, valuations, and credit reports
• Preparing files for underwriter review and driving UW-conditioned items to closing
• Managing and prioritizing a pipeline of homeowners in various stages of approval and funding
• Meeting or exceeding established production goals and Key Performance Metrics

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in loan processing
• Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce
• Experience working with mortgage and real estate third-party vendors (title, valuation, credit)
• Strong verbal and written customer service skills
• Ability to independently problem solve and manage workload under pressure
• Based in or able to commute to San Diego for hybrid work (Tuesday-Thursday onsite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with home equity investments
