Processing Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform processing duties in Receiving, Weigh-Out, Batching, and VTIS to support ESL and Aseptic product fillers
• Administer and maintain SOPs and PMs for all processing work areas
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with equipment
• Maintain and rebuild presses, homogenizers, and valves
• Interface with Quality department by pulling samples, swabbing systems, and verifying ingredients
• Manage liquid ingredient deliveries and monitor CIP of tankers
• Operate machinery for batching and manage ingredient inventory using LogPro
• Monitor temperature, flow, and pressure via VTIS charts
• Safely operate a forklift in wet conditions and confined spaces

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Basic to intermediate understanding of engineering, electronics, and pneumatics
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs frequently and stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to obtain HACCP Certification and complete Dairy Sampling Permit process
