Processing Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment, shipping, receiving, and finished product storage
• Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Maintain clean work areas and perform sanitation audits to ensure food safety standards
• Conduct quality checks on raw ingredients, intermediate products, and packaging materials
• Record production data regarding waste, downtime, and efficiency
• Coordinate shift activities and communicate pertinent information to team members

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Intermediate mechanical knowledge to understand department equipment operation
• Intermediate math skills for calculations and conversions
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or related industry experience
