About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing steps including cleaning, sanitation, and equipment set-up.
- Process raw materials according to validated processes, SOPs, and batch records.
- Monitor and record processing parameters to maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform SAP/MES transactions and ensure timely data recording in the Plant Cockpit system.
- Maintain a safe working environment by identifying potential issues and adhering to safety training.
- Ensure quality and compliance by adhering to GMP and GDP standards and reporting deviations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Education.
- Understanding of GMP compliance.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, or biochemistry).
- 2-3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (food or pharmaceutical).
- Experience in solid dose manufacturing within an OTC or pharmaceutical facility.
- Previous mechanical experience or formal training.
