Processing Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Clean workspace and glassware and maintain work station sanitation
• Track data via paperwork and iPad electronic batch record system
• Use internal tracking systems BioTrack and METRC
• Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and visual inspections
• Ensure compliance with weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security protocols
• Label products in compliance with state regulations
• Prepare materials for processing and complete sanitation of production equipment
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measurements
• Experience with safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste
• Ability to work independently with given directives
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to travel approximately 5%

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience
