Processing Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Keep workspace clean and sanitize production equipment, glassware, and tools
• Track data through paperwork and electronic batch records on iPad
• Use internal tracking systems BioTrack and METRC
• Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and visual inspections
• Ensure compliance with weighing, data recording, product tracking, and state regulations
• Prepare materials and complete daily processing tasks delegated by laboratory management
• Follow OSHA regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, GMP, and safety procedures
• Label products in compliance with state compliance regulations

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measurements
• Experience with safe handling and proper disposal of harmful chemicals and hazardous waste
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directive
• Ability to travel approximately 5%

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience
