Processing Associate/Mixer/Compounder

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer systems to retrieve recipe information and precise ingredient quantities
• Weigh individual raw ingredients and dump weight bags into stationery hoppers
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials
• Maintain equipment to prescribed standards of cleanliness and operational readiness
• Execute product and process changeovers and washes to maintain quality standards
• Monitor product and packaging quality against set standards and report faults
• Detect process abnormalities quickly and take emergency action to prevent issues
• Report mechanical or electrical machine malfunctions to the appropriate maintenance staff
• Adhere to all safety and environmental procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent and continuous employment in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
