Process Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform basic food handling tasks in accordance with Good Manufacturing and Food Safety standards
• Use provided equipment as instructed per documented policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene
• Alert supervisors to concerns regarding product, quality, safety, or process
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift
• Perform repetitive manual handling of loads up to 20kg
• Adhere to traffic management policies and procedures
• Stand for prolonged periods of time

Requirements

• Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
• Ability to learn Food Safety practices, HACCP, and WH&S principles
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 20kg
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends for minimum 8 hour shifts
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Sound English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
