Process Technology Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the advancement of Estane business objectives by overseeing pilot line runs and transitioning new product developments into commercial production.
• Execute regional initiatives under the Estane TPU Business Technology Plan using the Lubrizol stage-gate model.
• Define and implement Most Effective Technology (MET) for Estane TPU manufacturing to enhance processes.
• Solve process technology problems through fundamental exploration, Design of Experiments (DOE), and adoption of new methodologies.
• Lead project management for strategic Process Technology projects.
• Collaborate with multifunctional teams, including R&D scientists, process engineers, and product management, to deliver successful scale-ups.
• Develop data-driven processes to improve manufacturing safety, productivity, and cost-efficiency.
• Serve as an APAC TPU process expert, promoting best practices and collaborating with the global process technology fellow team.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in chemical engineering, polymer materials, engineering, or a related major.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the chemical or polymer industry.
• Proven experience in process optimization and product technology development.
• Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD, or MATLAB.
• Strong statistical analysis skills using Minitab.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in oral and written English.
• Strategic vision to identify and prioritize process optimization opportunities.
