Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment following all safety policies including lockout/tagout
• Set up and maintain production equipment for efficient manufacturing
• Develop and optimize molding processes to achieve ideal cycle times
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
• Improve product quality through process enhancements and continuous improvement
• Reduce production costs by minimizing scrap and improving efficiency
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on tooling recommendations
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete all required documentation and production records accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3–6 months of manufacturing experience or relevant training
• Experience with mold changing and knowledge of EPS molding processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work at heights using ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement practices
