Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines including Arburg, Toshiba, and Engel models
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot thermolaters, Hot Runner systems, material dryers, and end-of-arm tooling
• Operate and program sprue pickers and multi-axis robots
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance requests to identify root causes for quality issues
• Perform process transfers to match original Master Process, including fill rates, gate freeze, and cycle times
• Create labels and generate appropriate work orders and work order changes

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 3 years of experience with injection molding
• Experience with 2-shot molding
• Computer skills, specifically for performing inventory transactions
• Forklift certification or the ability to successfully complete certification
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and climb for 8 hours or more

Preferred Qualifications

• RJG scientific molding certification
