Process Technician (SEM Lab)

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical and Physical Failure Analysis (EFA/PFA) to investigate defect issues and categorize dead die.
• Conduct initial data analysis on new issues, document findings, and summarize investigation results and potential root causes into reports for stakeholders.
• Operate all laboratory equipment efficiently in compliance with safety guidelines and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Support company and department objectives by suggesting new ideas and participating in specialized projects and teams.

Requirements

• Associates degree in Electronics, AC/DC Electronics Technology, or an equivalent field.
• 3-5 years of industry experience or equivalent military training and experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (including 3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off schedules) and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to wear clean room garments 100% of the time to prevent product contamination.
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements in a laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical science.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting SEM, Dual Beam FIB, TEM, and deprocessing equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing or analysis environment.
