Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines to defined process specifications while minimizing scrap and downtime
• Re-adjust machines to correct product flaws and troubleshoot process problems in a timely manner
• Perform color changes on injection molding presses and assist with mold changes
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, processors, and technical personnel
• Perform basic maintenance on auxiliary equipment and operate powered vehicles

Requirements

• 1+ years of job-related experience with injection-molding equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong mathematical skills and excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and physically perform tasks such as bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, and reaching
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
