Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical process equipment including pumps, valves, heat exchangers, material handling equipment, mixers, filters, and reaction vessels
• Perform process rounds and collect operating parameter data
• Conduct lab sampling and quality analysis to ensure quality and process optimization
• Troubleshoot and address risks impacting safety, environmental compliance, product quality, or equipment reliability
• Initiate maintenance workflows and perform light maintenance
• Prepare equipment for maintenance in compliance with safe work and LOTO permitting processes
• Participate in process improvement and risk management processes such as RCAs, MOCs, and PHAs
• Develop and maintain accurate process and equipment documentation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Capability to wear a respirator during operations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in tight spaces, at heights, or in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in Process Technology or a similar field
• Prior leadership experience with people, processes, or data
• Ability to read and apply P&IDs
• Experience in manufacturing or process plant operations, specifically in chemicals, petroleum, or water treatment
