Process Technician, Advanced Packaging

Responsibilities

• Complete required safety training and consistently follow safety protocols during all work activities
• Identify and resolve chronic inefficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
• Review and prioritize production and development hold lots, escalating issues as needed
• Perform technical tests and experiments to support R&D engineering in semiconductor wafer fabrication
• Set up and operate semiconductor processing equipment and monitor line operators to ensure quality
• Analyze test run data and prepare reports to assist engineering teams in identifying yield issues
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats to meet deadlines independently

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (including rotating between day and night shifts every 4 months)
• Ability to lift 25-40 pounds regularly
• Capable of standing for long periods and walking up to 5 miles per shift

Preferred Qualifications

• AAS, AS, or STEM-related degree
• 1+ year of experience using SPC software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• 2+ years of industry experience or equivalent military training
• 2+ years of experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements
