Process Owner - Engineering

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and map existing blade repair processes to improve safety, efficiency, and cost.
• Design and implement new production processes, including specifying procedures for tooling and equipment.
• Collaborate with product design engineering to improve the repairability of wind turbine blades.
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Implement and monitor statistical process controls (SPC) to ensure quality compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the Repair production team to troubleshoot process-related problems.
• Provide guidance and training to production personnel on updated repair techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automation, or Marine Engineering (or a related technical field).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering with a strong background in lean principles and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with composite materials or repair processes.
• Previous experience within the wind energy industry.
