Process Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various manufacturing equipment using CNC controls, including horizontal boring machines, laser drillers, and 5-axis milling machines.
• Perform multiple operations such as machining, bonding processes, heat treatment, and manual machining using hand tools.
• Interpret detailed drawings, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to determine necessary tools and operations.
• Use material handling devices, including jib/bridge cranes and forklifts, to load and unload parts from machines.
• Adhere to established safety and quality protocols and Siemens established operating procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC operations, including machining, laser applications, and coating machines.
• Proficiency in CNC operation, including loading/unloading workpieces and performing advanced metrology.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs of materials.
• Ability to wear a respirator and successfully complete required hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.
• Valid fork truck/crane license (or ability to obtain immediately upon selection).
• Strong shop math skills and ability to follow QA protocols.
