Process Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain biogas to methanol production systems
• Maximize equipment uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance
• Provide daily reports on operating status, findings, and issues
• Handle methanol storage and transfer to offtake partners
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
• Assist engineers with Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and system commissioning
• Collect and log data to verify equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology
• 2+ years of experience operating or maintaining industrial or laboratory test equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with sensors and control systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor or industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial testing, process operations, or field service
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or other industrial control systems
• Experience with biofuel, chemical, or renewable energy process equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and hazardous-materials handling
