Process Operator

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day manufacturing operations including reactor management, transfers, packing, and material handling
• Prioritize Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) by investigating near misses and performing risk assessments
• Utilize the automated DCS Delta V system for running reactors and performing basic troubleshooting
• Weigh and add raw materials to various vessels and manage the packaging of finished goods
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping and perform operational maintenance tasks as required
• Document all production procedures and gather data for continuous production improvement
• Communicate effectively across all functions within and outside of manufacturing

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Experience working in a chemical plant environment
• Strong aptitude for understanding production processes and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
