Process Operator B

Responsibilities

• Manage the melting process of raw materials at high temperatures (up to 1500°C) to produce stone wool.
• Start up the furnace and monitor the complete melting process.
• Intervene and adjust the process during acute or threatening deviations according to established procedures.
• Perform quality controls at the furnaces and signal any deviations.
• Propose improvements to optimize the production process.
• Participate actively in improvement groups and operator meetings.
• Perform simple, independent maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Completed education at MBO-3 level or higher in a technical or process-related field, or an Operator B diploma (e.g., Vapro).
• Technical proficiency and relevant work experience.
• Strong initiative, quality awareness, and safety consciousness.
• Good physical health and fitness.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language (written and oral).
• Willingness to work in a 3, 4, or 5-shift rotation schedule.
