About the role
Responsibilities
- Design trim and chassis assembly facilities in the digital phase
- Validate station layout, ergonomics, access, and safety during physical phase and trial builds
- Coordinate the installation, layout finalization, and commissioning of stations, fixtures, racks, and small tools
- Ensure availability, calibration, and certification of torque tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Implement and sustain 5S, safety standards, and line-side material flow for trim and chassis areas
- Support PR checks, simulations, and physical trials by providing facility inputs and issue resolution
- Coordinate with maintenance, production, quality, and process teams to close facility issues
- Track facility action items, risks, and progress to report to project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with customer standards, statutory norms, and internal audit requirements
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of experience in process or methods engineering
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Proven experience with station layout design and ergonomics validation
- Knowledge of torque tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Experience with 5S implementation and safety standards compliance
- Familiarity with chassis and trim assembly facilities
