Process Mechanic/Chemical Production Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document experiments for processing battery materials (e.g., powders, granules, compounds) in the technical center
• Set up, prepare, and operate extrusion systems, mixing systems, and other process technology equipment
• Optimize technical processes, plant operations, and experimental procedures
• Perform cleaning, care, and maintenance of technical equipment
• Execute assembly tasks and analyze/resolve plant-specific malfunctions

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Process Mechanic (specializing in plastics), Plastic Form Maker, Chemical Production Specialist, or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in plastics processing, plastic forming, or a related technical environment is preferred
• Experience working with mixers, extruders, or similar industrial equipment
• Strong technical understanding and a hands-on mentality
• High level of awareness regarding safety and quality standards
• Fluency in German; basic English skills are an advantage
