Process Mechanic - Chemical Processor

Responsibilities

• Setup, load, and operate cranes to move materials
• Control and operate chemical metal cleaning, treating, and caustic etching processes such as anodizing, color anodizing, and alodining
• Maintain chemical solutions at proper temperature, composition, and strength
• Use hand and power tools along with measuring instruments including hydrometers, micrometers, ammeters, voltmeters, and thermometers
• Check density and temperature, determine process times, and adjust equipment settings
• Record data regarding tank solutions as required
• Prepare materials for chemical etching and coating, including touching up imperfections in coatings

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with chemical processing
• 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials
• Ability to operate cranes
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to work any assigned shift
