Process Lead - Fixed Assets Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset master data, including asset creation, capitalization, and disposition
• Perform period-end closing activities and reconcile sub-ledgers to the General Ledger
• Prepare reports and schedules for statutory and internal audits (ICS, HARP, iGAAP)
• Supervise associates in preparing tax accounts and maintaining asset master records
• Assist team leadership in resolving client queries and conducting root cause analysis
• Manage people responsibilities, including work assignment, performance appraisal, and coaching
• Ensure service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLAs within a strong internal control framework
• Participate in continuous improvement projects within the shared services environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (CA, ICWA, or MBA Finance preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in a Fixed Asset Department
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Companies Act, IFRS, and iGAAP
• Proficiency with SAP
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to solve problems with both short-term and long-term perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or cement industry
• Experience working in a captive shared service environment
