About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvements in safety, quality, and productivity across Amazon Logistics delivery stations.
  • Analyze quantitative data from the Amazon network to identify operational problems and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct site visits to perform qualitative analysis, including time studies and interviews with site members, to validate data findings.
  • Implement and scale standardized improvement solutions across the Japanese delivery station network, considering global scalability.
  • Collaborate with international teams (North America, EU) to adapt and deploy advanced systems and processes to the Japanese market.
  • Lead cross-functional projects by engaging with site managers and various stakeholders to drive the PDCA cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in business process improvement or project management.
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Ability to travel to various delivery station locations (approximately 50% of working time).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving continuous improvement using Lean or Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies.
  • Technical proficiency with databases and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Redshift, Excel, or MS SQL Server).
  • Experience working within diverse, multinational teams and a commitment to an inclusive culture.
